| A graph looks like a grid with two number lines. The horizontal number line is called the x-axis and the vertical number line is called the y-axis.
Each point on the graph can be represented by two numbers, usually written as (x,y). The number x represents how far to the right the point is, and the y represents how far up the point is. |
