The Fuselage

	Many of the earliest planes didn't have a fuselage. At that time planes or "flying machines" were being designed for one purpose -- to stay in the air long enough to call it flying. Once we could fly, we wanted to carry people and cargo, so the fuselage became an essential part of aircraft design.
