volume as well. Remember, volume is the amount of space a 3-dimensional object occupies.
3-d picture of a cylder with a radius of 3 feet and a height of 10 feet The formula for the volume of a cylinder = bh ("b" is the area of the base shape and "h" is height)
We can also say: ¼r2 x height.

Either way, doesn't this look alot like the area formula ... all that's different
is we multiply by the "height" now. Hmmm... interesting.
