Center for Accessible Technology (CforAT) - "The Center for Accessible Technology is a non-profit organization that works with children and adults with disabilities, their families, teachers, counselors, and employers to explore computer systems, adaptive devices and software. We assist people in gaining the knowledge and expertise needed to make the best decisions about selecting and using adaptive computer equipment. The Center empowers consumers not by prescribing aids, but by recognizing that each person has something to contribute to the successful implementation of a technological solution." CforAT is a major contributor to PlaneMath.
Alliance for Technology Access - "The Alliance for Technology Access (ATA) is a network of community-based resource centers dedicated to providing information and support services to children and adults with disabilities, and increasing their use of standard, assistive, and information technologies. LETSNet - "LETSNet is a dynamic on-line environment where teachers can develop their understandings of the Web and find ways to effectively use - or make sense of - the World-Wide Web in their classrooms. To help teachers achieve these goals, we have organized teaching resources around classroom teachers' stories, including lesson plans, curriculum standards and guides, pointers to e-mail discussion lists, and many other Internet and Web materials. The stories we have collected about teachers document their feelings about their successes, lessons learned, and plans for future Internet activities with their students."
